Confession of Faith

We believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior from sin and death, and in the Holy Spirit, our ever-present Sanctifier, Comforter, and Guide. We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the revealed will of God to mankind, and are alone able to make us wise unto salvation. We believe the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ and His Apostles are a full and sufficient statement of the duties and faith of the church. We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins, that He was buried, and that He arose from the dead the third day, according to the Scriptures, as the first fruits of those that slept; that He ascended bodily from the earth to heaven, where He sits at the right hand of God the Father, to make intercession for us. From there He shall come again personally in the clouds of heaven to rapture the church. Then after a period of seven years, return with His saints to reign for 1,000 years upon this earth. At the end of this reign, the wicked dead shall be raised and judged. Then the heavens and earth shall be burned up and a new heaven and earth will be created, which shall be His ever-lasting kingdom. We believe that the declarations of Jesus Christ and His Apostles, as found in the New Testament, are sufficient statement of the future inheritance of the saved and punishment of the unsaved as recorded in Matthew 5:5, 25:46; Rom. 6:23; Rev. 20:15.

We believe that baptism by immersion is the best method to maintain the symbolism given us in Col.2: 12,13 and other means should only be used when immersion is physically unrealistic; and the Lordís Supper according to the Scripture in 1 Cor . 11: 23-32. These ordinances of the church are to be duly observed until He comes.
